Snehalaya gets uninturrpted power thanks to Cummins Generator Technologies

Ahmednagar (Date: 24th, June 2009): 

Cummins Generator Technologies has always supported Snehalaya in various humanitarian projects in the past, like Nutrition Programme in 2006, fun fair for HIV positive children on the occasion of World AIDS Day, conducted various competitions and distributed gifts for children. Now days we are facing the problem of power cut (no electricity for more than 6 hrs in a day).  We were in need of generator set for continuous electricity at our rehabilitation center in Nimbalak village, where 280 beneficiaries (including 150 HIV positive children) are living, the 30 bedded hospital is being run.  Snehalaya requested Mr. Pradeep Bhargava (Manging Director, C.G.T. India) to sponsor for 20 KVA D.G. Set. He replied positively and assured to support in this regard. C.G.T. donated the DG set worth Rs. 2, 85, 000/- in the last month. 

Today, on 24th, June 2009 Snehalaya organized the inauguration programme.  Mr. Ben Miller (Managing Director, C.G.T. Global), Mr. Pradeep Bhargava (Managing Director, C.G.T. India),Mr. S.V. Kulkarni and the team of Cummins as well as the well-wishers of Snehalaya were present for the programme.  Mr. Miller expressed his feeling in the programme that he felt very happy to see such a good work for the deprived including HIV positives. The Cummins will always feel proud to be the member of Snehalaya family.  Mr. Milind Kulkarni introduced the activities of Snehalaya to the hon. guests; Ambadas Chauhan gave the vote of thanks.
