Smt. Sharada Gowda has inaugurated Sharada Balbhavan at Katraj, Pune on Gandhi Jayanti. This balbhavan was constructed on the land donated by Smt. Gowda.  Smt. Gowda has left prostitution on Snehalaya's inpiration. This is the first project given the name of a victim woman. About 120 children and 300 below-poverty-line poor families are benefitting by Balbhavan.

      Greetings from Snehalaya family.

Snehalaya cordially invites you to attend the formal grand opening ceremony of Sharada Balbhavan  on 2nd October (Gandhi Birth Anniversary) at 4.30 pm in Katraj, Pune. Balbhavan is a slum-based educational support program specially for child labor.  The activities like educational support to school drop-out children, night study classes, games, competitions, cultural programming, awareness workshops/programing to promote good health, de-addiction, education, etc. are conducted at Balbhavans. There are 112 & 310 surveyed families which are taking the benefit of Balbhavan activity at Katraj. Mrs. Sharada Gawada will be honored for her land donation to Balbhavan.
